Taking my reporter hat off for a second, I'm baffled that Mallard Creek's Nyan Brown was called for a DQ for basically showing the back of his hand while crossing the finish line.
I don't know the letter of the law rules here, but he was fully aware that he was about to win his school a third straight championship. Kids, adults, all of us, would get excited in a moment like this.
I didn't see any effort to taunt or show anyone up.
Sometimes we need to huddle up and review the tape and come up with the right call.
Seems like we missed this one.

I’ve been over looked my whole career, know it’s happening in the recruiting process. No.5 in the state passing, broke multiple school records, lead my offense to the 3rd round, worked hard everyday even when people doubted me.
