I do like this slow burn angle of Sami spiralling trying to prove his worth because he feels very misunderstood. Why aren’t people seeing that he’s a good guy?! Sami feels like nobody respects him or thinks he’s championship worthy, which is why he’s always in the face of Cody, the champ, backstage. But as hard as he tries to get Cody see him and acknowledge him he ends up feeling completely dismissed by Cody who is currently wrapped up in other things - Randy at WrestleMania, now Gunther and Heyman are doing deals for a match with him and they’re getting it, but Sami cant seem to get the same opportunity? Does Cody not think he’s a threat? That’s never been Cody’s intention but it’s the way Sami feels. We’ll see Sami crawling around KC for sure I think. He’s not going away suddenly. He’s moved from backstage interruption to segment interruption in ring and tonight it spilled over into a fight. One where Cody realised quickly afterwards, he needs to try and smooth things over with Sami and offered him his hand. One way or another, I think we are going to see Sami force Cody’s hand for a title match. Gunther in the way or not. #SmackDown #QB1🍦
