We’re teachers, of course we had to correct the headline. When you use taxpayer money to fund billionaires’ stadiums while making massive cuts to schools, it’s our students who suffer most.

"Run out of money" is one way of saying it, "Ohio lawmakers decided to build a billionaire donor's stadium with your money instead of funding your child's schools" is another.

CEA stands in solidarity with our educator colleagues in Minnesota, students in Minneapolis whose schools remain shut down for safety, and a community mourning the tragic killing of Renee Good. ICE makes schools less safe in Minneapolis, and here in Columbus too.

Today, CCS will host five food distribution sites for CCS families receiving SNAP benefits. Through a $125,000 grant from the City of Columbus, the District will distribute ready-to-eat meals each week to families in need. Locations and times listed here: bit.ly/47J1A1g
