A moving moment during Minister @GordonLyons1’s visit to Washington, D.C. At Arlington National Cemetery (@ArlingtonNatl), the Minister laid a wreath at the grave of Field Marshal Sir John Greer Dill, the distinguished Lurgan-born military leader who served as Chief of the British Joint Staff Mission in Washington during the Second World War. The only non-American interred at Arlington, his collaboration with American counterparts helped further strengthen the unbreakable bonds that tie our nations together. #America250 #USANI250
