Mientras más de 2,300 millones de personas en el mundo (29.3%) padecen de hambre, 1300 millones de toneladas de comida producida al año (1/3 del total) es desechada para la especulación de los capitalistas. Asi es como la burguesía capitalista mantiene sus beneficios, especulando con el hambre, porque en el capitalismo el derecho a la alimentación no existe, solo es negocio.
