Nearly accidently booked something similar this the other week because Asia has a crazy amount of screen options. If me watching anytning in bed on a laptop is anything to go by, I will be asleep as soon as the trailers start, and snoring loudly through the film.

Spider-Man watched an old dude get hit by a car right infront of him and then just fucked off to go save his ex girlfriend. Good stuff.

I wrote about Christopher Nolan's use of montage in The Odyssey and some of his other films.

@Conorft Beautiful, just absolutely stunning. I love the composition, i love how everything bleeds into each other with the horse bleeding into the sails on the boat sailing across the sea which turns Penelope’s cloak and with Ithaca in the background with all the monsters . Just stunning

The power of Nolan is that you can be on top of a mountain in Indonesia at night overlooking a volcano waiting for it to spew its lava, debating his filmography with a cool dude from Malaysia while you wait. Beautiful tbh.

Me with every new Nolan release

Yeah she was the villian, not the dude who left her to wage a 10 year war on a city for power amongst trade routes and sacked and pillaged an entire city, and oh yeah... sacraficed his own daughter for favourable winds.

@Visualsofazmat1 @LukeBarnett Think it was mostly comp work and replacement vfx, not necessarily computer generated, but I did notice a few quick shots where this puppet was used on screen which is kind of cool, mostly for the hands grabbing etc but its blink and you miss it

@LukeBarnett Cyclops was obviously entirely cgi and that model was mostly used for reference by cg Artists

Audiences will show up for practical effects.
