To ensure those fun days stay safe, Cook Children’s Lifeguard Your Child campaign equips parents with the tools to create a water safety plan. This mission takes on a global scale this summer.

To help families stay in the game, Cook Children’s launched #WorldCupWednesday. This weekly health series provides local & international visitors with expert safety advice. #MemorialDayWeekend marks the unofficial start of summer, drawing eager families to local pools & lakes.

Their goal is simple: preventing hot car tragedies through public awareness. “Never leave your child alone in a car, not even for a second,” said Evans. “A child's body heats up about three to five times faster than an adult and so the heat really takes a toll on them.”
