You’re wrong, like many great men they were great in their spheres, people to emulate because of a specific virtue. Not to be subject to sycophantic idol worship but men who did a virtuous thing in a hard time. The action and th deed is what is to be remembered and the man is tied to that deed whether we like it or not.
