Soup Sisters has been awarded $1,000 by our Community Investment Fund committee in Calgary. These funds will help Soup Sisters craft nourishing, ready-to-serve soup meals for vulnerable populations and frontline agency partners who serve unhoused families and individuals.

March is Red Cross Month. Join us as we celebrate the work of the Canadian Red Cross and the support it provides families facing emergency situations. In 2024, we renewed our partnership with the Canadian Red Cross through a $1-million investment over five years. #FCLcares

On March 1, 2026, our Calgary Food Distribution Centre achieved five years without a lost-time injury! Thank you to the team for continuing to put safety first, and congratulations on this impressive milestone!

Over the past two decades, FCL has partnered with the United Way to raise awareness and funds for unignorable issues in our local communities. We’re proud to share that our 2025 employee campaign raised more than $200,000, bringing our lifetime contributions to over $3.6 million.

In January, FCL introduced a new benefit for team members called Work Hours Volunteering. The program allows them to dedicate up to 16 paid working hours annually. Through this new program, we continue to support our team members and their commitment to community. #Community
