Unfortunately, I was laid off from @TribeGaming today. It’s hard to put into words just how much this company meant to me: the people, the work, the players, the creators, every piece of the brand. These past six years have been nothing short of amazing. Being able to grow the socials from the ground up with an incredible group of people is something I’ll never forget. From Brawl esports coverage to in-person photo shoots, two World Championships, IRL content, traveling the world, and making friends across continents… it was a wild ride, and I’m forever grateful. Through it all, I got to collaborate with absolute legends in the space: Activision, Blizzard, Second Dinner, WWE, 2K, Supercell, Riot Games, Netflix, Squid Game, and so many more. Grateful doesn’t even cover it. I’ll always be a Tribe fan. I’ll be rooting for them no matter what. @ChiefPat and @donjongg took a chance on me fresh out of college, and I’ll never stop thanking them for that. My DMs are open to see what my next creative/social fit may be. If you’re building something cool (gaming, creators, brands, whatever), let’s talk. I’m ready for what’s next.

@SpenLC I’m a fan of prestige 3 still, however I feel like all the people abusing matchmaking to get it are taking so much away from the achievement.

What’s everyone’s feelings about prestige’s and trophy pushing now the update has settled? Im definitely noticing the interest has gone down dramatically both from my friends list (Most switched back to ranked this week) Also on YouTube the views on prestige content dropped 75% after a week :’)

Me and zou not even close like that but this soleil guy is such a loser. Zou a top 10-15 player of all time. Achieved things in this game only a handful of people ever will. Soleil just goes on twitter to hate on people when they’re down. Has never achieved anything in this game and hits on underage girls. Actually the biggest loser this game has ever seen

🏆 NEW TROPHY SYSTEM 🏆 We're applying changes to the current Trophy System after the update maintenance (February 24th), and there are some things you should know: ♦️ The Trophy Season and the Trophy Box system will be removed ♦️ Everyone will receive their last Trophy Box based on how many Season Trophies they had before the update ♦️ Leaderboard Prestige will be removed and moved to a Legacy stat in your Player Profile ♦️ Everyone will receive an Ultra Trophy Box after the update maintenance. This means that if you push for 3000 Season Trophies before February 24th, you can get 2 Ultra Boxes! ♦️ Ultra Trophy Boxes and the other Trophy Box tiers will still appear occasionally in Community Events ♦️ Every Brawler above 1000 Trophies will be reset back to 1000 Trophies 👀 WHAT'S NEXT? 👀 A new Trophy System that: 🔹 Encourages every player to push further 🔹 Rewards dedicated and skillful players with a brand new Brawler Title in a new color so they can flex their achievement (more about that next week!) 🔹 Improves matchmaking (using an MMR system) ❗️ A “Resource-Rush” event that rewards more currency for each match won Improvements on how to get more Buffies: 🔸 Buffies in Mega Quests per Season (still in development!) 🔸 1 Free Buffie per new Claw Machine 🔸 1 Random Buffie offer for 79 Gems 🔸 Through the “Resource-Rush” event mentioned above More details in the next Brawl Talk on February 21st!
