@brdgeeeeee @harrietgendall These are 'cili' - depictions of the #rice #goddess Dewi Sri, delicately plaited from palm leaves. Symbolising life and prosperity, #DewiSri has been worshipped in #Bali, #Java and elsewhere in the Indonesian archipelago for hundreds (if not thousands) of years.
