We finally did it! Our @OSUsoccer educational & fitness fieldhouse is open. Thank you to everyone!

Our Community Youth Unit recently held a 6-week Soccer Mentoring Program at Saint Anne Elementary School. During their final session, 15 youths in the program played against the police. Thank you to Ottawa South United (@OSUsoccer) for donating uniforms and medals. The Soccer Mentoring Program is an after-school program led by police officers and local soccer club representatives, which brings youth and OPS members together to learn the fundamentals of soccer while having meaningful interactions with police. ~ Notre unité de jeunesse communautaire a récemment organisé un programme de mentorat en football de six semaines à l'école primaire Sainte-Anne. Au cours de la dernière séance, 15 jeunes du programme ont joué contre la police. Nous remercions Ottawa South United d'avoir fait don des uniformes et des médailles. Le programme de mentorat en soccer est un programme parascolaire dirigé par des policiers et des représentants de clubs de soccer locaux, qui réunit des jeunes et des membres du SPO pour qu'ils apprennent les rudiments du soccer tout en ayant des interactions significatives avec la police. @OPSYouthSection #Ottawa #MyOttawa #MonOttawa #OttNews #OttNouvelles
