@wujuskinny @zachaniffx Nothing is really changed that close to show date especially since this all run thru agencies. Coachella wins on it bc she blew up after the price for her was already settled.

@zachaniffx booked and set time are not the same thing, some things are decided closer to..?
no one’s denying that she blew up after being booked, set times are also just subject to change up until they come out, and even then still subject to change in some circumstances

i think people fail to understand the point of certain booking slots..
like clearly slayyyter was meant to be an anchor act for the early day to bring people in since there wasn’t much going on until like 4-5ish

Pulling this crowd at Coachella at 3 pm is insane

Tuesdays are BACK! Catch me and the homies at wiggle room (next to a pizza joint might I add) 🍕😇

Random, but I miss the old shows with @CRIZZLY and Co. with all of those other Austin-based DJs and how they would hand pizza out to the crowd. Different times. Anyway lmao. Hope you’re doing well man!

@Ivorydubz Not every system is tuned which is why other genres shine in that environment. It’s really hard to enjoy extremely loud music unless you’re on a festival rig imo. But even then other genres sound amazing on that rig still. It’s about the consistency of playback environments.
English

@Ivorydubz Once you play a track with so much loudness it’s hard to bring it back to a set that doesn’t have that same loudness/energy. Other genres have a lot more breathing room to play. Most of the night hearing something extremely loud isn’t the vibe.

Im trying to understand this post. Where do you draw the line? What does too distorted means and what is actually making it physically dangerous for the crowd? First time reading something like this (genuinely asking) whats your take on heavier genres like Harcore etc?
Jax From The Future@JaxFromTheFutur
I think dubstep & bass music are getting WAY too distorted to play out in clubs / bigger venues. I find myself deleting good stuff off my live playlists due to this more and more frequently. Producers: turn down that saturation on the master channel and try this instead:
