Fees & Maker/Taker Logic
This is where it gets important for cost-conscious traders:
1) @okx With market orders, you're considered a taker — you remove liquidity from the market, and exchanges sometimes charge higher fees for this. With limit orders, you're generally considered a maker, providing liquidity and subject to lower maker fees. However, a limit order can still become a taker order if it executes immediately upon placement. #OKX
2) @okx Advanced Limit Options ⚙️
Beyond a standard limit order, OKX offers advanced limit types including Post Only (guarantees maker status — cancels if it would fill immediately), Fill or Kill (FOK) (must fill entirely or cancel), and Immediate or Cancel (IOC) (fills what it can instantly, cancels the rest).
