Please congratulate BHS FFA members Jasmine Ho, Eleni Crews, Caden Metzger, and Eliana Morales. Every member of the National Nursery/Landscape Team placed silver individual and the team earned a silver ranking at the 96th National FFA Convention in Indianapolis. Way to go BASHA!!

Great job to BHS Culinary students. They attended the CCAP Harvest Moon Fundraiser on 10/27. Students prepared seared sea scallops over golden mushroom puree, toasted cayenne pistachios and cranberry pearls were the menu and required students to demonstrate several techniques.

CHS FFA students visited 20 elementary school classrooms this week to teach them about the life cycle of a pumpkin. FFA students enjoy sharing their passion for agriculture. CHS FFA students teach 150 lessons per year for the Farm Bureaus Ag in the Classroom program within CUSD.

Dr. Cubbage with Herd Health Managment presented to Chandler High FFA students. She performed a pregnancy check on Reba, and students were able to see the baby calf on a monitor and in the goggles. Students were also taught how to administer shots and restrain animals.

Congratulations to Chandler FFA member, Annabelle Williams at the Arizona State Fair. Annabelle’s steer Vader, won Grand Champion Prospect Beef. This was Annabelle's second year in a row winning Grand Champion. Last year Annabelle earned over $40,000 with her Beef Projects.
