Five days ago I did an experiment testing the acceleration due to gravity, toppling into this 7 ft pit in the dark. Fortunately my ribs smashed into the metal filter first, likely breaking my fall so that when my head smashed into the wall I survived. Just bruised and gashed.👍

This👇is completely untrue. The Harper government signed free trade agreements with 39 countries, partly through the Canada-Europe Trade Agreement, and the Trans Pacific Partnership, covering almost all European & Asian economies. Canada did so *without* a carbon tax. Carbon taxes were never an issue in the negotiations. Carbon taxes are *not* an issue in the stalled Canada-UK free trade negotiations. None of the fastest growing emerging economies have carbon taxes (eg India, Korea, China.) None of the other major global producers of energy have a carbon tax (eg Saudi, Russia, USA, Gulf States.) And several European governments are starting to reverse course on green policies that have led to de-industrialization. Mark Carney is a smart guy. So who does he think he’s fooling by arguing that diversifying export markets requires imposing hugely uncompetitive carbon taxes on trade exposed sectors of our economy?
Juno News@junonewscom

PM Carney claims that having an industrial carbon tax is necessary for Canada to expand trade into European Union, the United Kingdom and emerging Asian markets.

Happy to join #Toronto leaders to support a project involving the incomparable @kinsellawarren. Together, we will shine a light into the shadows where those who seek to divide us hide. Truth shall prevail.

@acoyne Isn't @GGCanada equally to blame? She could have demanded Trudeau call an election or at least, recall the house.

#polcan #PolQc
Commentary Donald J. Trump Posts From Truth Social@TrumpDailyPosts

No one can answer why we subsidize Canada to the tune of over $100,000,000 a year? Makes no sense! Many Canadians want Canada to become the 51st State. They would save massively on taxes and military protection. I think it is a great idea. 51st State!!! Donald Trump Truth Social 03:23 AM EST 12/18/24

It's time for Justin Trudeau to resign. Liberals are fighting each other - when Canadians need a Prime Minister who will fight for them. It is more important than ever for people to stand together to fight the threat of Conservative cuts.

About 200 days to go to the presidential vote and Biden has eliminated the gap with Trump. Trump meanwhile won't be able to campaign because he's sitting in a NYC courtroom as a criminal defendant. Recapturing the edge is kind of hard to do when you are in the prisoner's docket.
