Your #oncology team is incredible at the medicine: scans, protocols, evidence-based plans. But when it comes to the day-to-day realities of treatment — the tricks for nausea that actually work, how fatigue hits differently on certain days, what to pack for long infusion sessions, or how to talk to family about what you're really feeling — no textbook or appointment covers it all. That's where #VitalMatch steps in. To match you with people who've walked your exact path (same cancer type/subtype, stage, treatment regimen, molecular markers, age, gender). In private, safe 1:1 chats, they share the unfiltered insights only lived experience can provide — insights your care team simply cannot. Plus: Track symptoms & treatment responses Journal privately or celebrate milestones Build hope through stories that mirror yours Your matched peers are waiting. If you wonder why the current #cancer treatments cannot protect millions of cancer patients from dying, this is the reason.

Tumor-induced immune disorder (TID) is a major driver of clinical deterioration and mortality in patients with advanced #cancer. It promotes #cachexia, multiple organ damage, and opportunistic infections. Effective therapies specifically targeting TID are therefore urgently needed. share.google/BU2vD45UJKUbjf…

The major problem with current treatment approaches for late-stage #cancer is that care is rarely directed toward cure — which is why true cures remain exceptional. Because curative outcomes are so uncommon, most patients come to view advanced cancer as an inevitable death sentence. When someone then tells a terminally ill patient that a realistic chance of survival exists, they often refuse to believe it. After being told repeatedly by doctors that “there are no options left,” hope feels simply too good to be true.

@leka11_ly @Here_4_NBA It uses an algorithm to match patients in almost identical conditions. I suggest you sign up to test it. It gets more useful when more patients use it.
