Je m'appelle Laurence Brunet-JAMBU  je  suis profondément écœurée par la justice dans notre pays, car cela touche directement ma vie et celle de ma famille. Le violeur de notre  fille a été condamné à 30 ans de prison, le 7 juillet 2018  par la cour d'appel de RENNES  mais en raison de la loi actuelle sur la confusion des peines, il ne purgera que 8 ans. Il va sortir le 12 mai 2026. Cette injustice n’est pas uniquement notre douleur personnelle, mais un signal d’alarme pour toutes les familles victimes. Ma fille est sa 16e victime , qui sera la suivante ?votre Enfant ?!

La loi sur la confusion des peines permet actuellement de cumuler plusieurs peines de prison en une seule, réduisant ainsi le temps que les criminels passent en prison. Cela a des conséquences désastreuses pour les victimes et leurs familles, lesquelles doivent vivre avec le traumatisme tandis que les responsables retrouvent rapidement la liberté.

Il est crucial que nous adaptions notre système judiciaire sans attendre , pour garantir que les condamnations reflètent véritablement la gravité des crimes commis. Les violeurs, meurtriers et autres criminels violents doivent purger l'intégralité des peines décidées par les tribunaux, et ne bénéficier d'aucune réduction automatique due à des règles obsolètes.

Des changements dans la législation sont  enfin nécessaires pour protéger les victimes et dissuader d’éventuels criminels. Nous devons faire pression sur nos législateurs pour qu'ils révisent aujourd'hui  et modifient cette loi afin de rendre la justice pleine et entière pour les victimes.

After Trayvon Martin was killed in 2012, Prince invited Van Jones to Paisley Park. From that came Yes We Code, a program to prepare low-income young people of color for careers in technology. Prince funded it quietly, asking that his name stay out of the spotlight. After Freddie Gray died in Baltimore in 2015, Prince flew in and performed a Rally 4 Peace concert. He debuted a new song, "Baltimore," and used the proceeds to fund jobs for local youth. He sent money to families in need. He supported organizations bringing solar energy to underserved communities. He helped musicians who had fallen on hard times. He made calls to people in trouble and never spoke about it publicly.
