Over the years, he has packed hundreds of parachutes for CWH. Currently, Bert is an active member on the ramp crew. Bert is only the 4th member to be awarded the Dennis J. Bradley Memorial Award.

The Bolingbroke’s restored turret was recently test fitted into the fuselage. This turret had a unique feature - when not in use, the cupola could be partially retracted to reduce drag. Replica twin Browning .303's will eventually be installed in the turret.

This week’s warm weather gave Rick a chance to test run our new Chipmunk’s Lycoming engine. Before joining our collection, this aircraft spent many years with the Burmese Air Force before being owned privately.

Our Bolingbroke will be finished in the markings of RCAF No. 119 "City of Hamilton" Sqn a/c no. 714. During WWII, the IODE (Imperial Order of the Daughters of the Empire) raised funds to buy Bolingbroke no. 714. The original wore the IODE crest and this one proudly will as well.
