How Account Value Shapes Your Aura on Galxe Starboard
Starboard Aura for X content is calculated based on a combination of factors, including who promotes the content, its overall reach, and its quality. To determine how much Aura is earned through content reach, Account Value is considered when it comes to who promotes the content, and there are various parameters that make up the Account Value. A user with not many followers can have a high account value if their followers have a high Account Value. So, this is not based on the number of followers, but rather the quality of followers.
Interactions from regular accounts and KOLs correlate with a higher Aura. So, we get inquiries like, "I made two posts with similar engagements (likes, reposts, quotes, comments), but there's a significant difference between their Aura." To answer this common question, this is because the Account Value differs for every user.
This approach may not be perfectly precise and may allow some manipulation, as we've seen cases where users earn high Aura from specific KOL interactions or accounts which they realize have a high Account Value. We are continuously adding new factors to improve its accuracy since such cases do not reflect broader community engagements.
