It was a pleasure to welcome the students, teachers, and chaperones from Legacy Elementary to the Capitol on Monday. Your thoughtful questions and engagement with how state government works were truly inspiring. I appreciate your visit and commitment to civic education. The doors are always open.

GRAVE ROBBERS: Reports coming out of Jerusalem state that the body of a criminal executed by crucifixion under the authority on Pontius Pilot has been stolen. Local sources state that the stone was rolled away and the body of Jesus is gone. The Roman guards allegedly saw "an angel" roll the stone away. Authorities are asking for the over 500 witnesses to step forward with information.

Week 8

Why I voted YES on HB26-1336: In rural Colorado, the nearest hospital is often 1.5 hours away. This bill gives moms and dads a faster, closer option for kids’ ear infections, quick refills, or minor issues right at the local pharmacy we already trust. It’s not a mandate. It simply adds a practical new choice for busy families. Real healthcare access close to home.

Until 2013, this Colorado Capitol stenciling was covered by acoustical tile (for years) and completely unknown to staff. During a remodel, the tile came down and this craftsmanship was revealed again. A reminder that Colorado’s story is worth preserving, and that our best days are still ahead.

Every day I notice something new in the State Capitol. Today, it was the Republican elephant and Democrat donkey above the doors to the chamber.

These historic halls have seen generations of decisions that shape our communities, our economy, and our future. Grateful to be here, listening, learning, and working on the issues that matter most to the people I serve. What’s one issue you want legislators to focus on right now?

Rep. @DanielPWoog just passed HB26-1138 out of committee! This bill will create a retail theft prevention program in the Attorney General’s Office. After seeing a major increase in retail theft across this state, this bill is a major win for public safety

Great energy at the Weld and Boulder County assemblies this weekend. I’m grateful for the conversations and the support. Let’s keep this momentum going!

Had the honor of meeting Miss Rodeo Colorado 2026, Lindsey Fancher-Rule, at the Colorado State Capitol on Friday. She's a true champion of rodeo, agriculture, and our Western heritage celebrating hard work, land stewardship, and timeless values that keep Colorado strong. Let's preserve this way of life!

Members of the State Patrol and their K9 units visited the House floor today. I appreciate their tireless work in maintaining public safety and the opportunity to recognize their service.

The delivery fee is a regressive tax(fee) that wasn’t approved by voters and hurts rural, elderly and low income Coloradan’s more than anyone. Disappointing it failed on party lines.

Today in Committee, Rep. @DanielPWoog is fighting to repeal Colorado’s 28¢ retail delivery fee! His HB26-1266 would help stop the constant nickel-and-diming of Coloradans, especially seniors and rural communities that rely on deliveries. Coloradans deserve relief.
