Ruptured my quad requiring full reattachment surgery early March of 25โ€™. Used treadmill and stairmaster exclusively for cardio for the last year. Started with slow gimpy walking on treadmill, 8 months in slow walk jogs, after 11 months running 19 minute 2 miles on treadmill. Ran 2 miles outdoors last week 18:30. Not blazing but Iโ€™m 260lbs so Iโ€™ll take it.

To be honest, my ideal diet would be high-carb, high-fat, low-protein. Maybe medium protein LADEN with seed oils, refined sugar, low micronutrients. I truly don't believe that anyone *actually* disagrees with me on this

I fooled myself into believing I was running slow enough on my easy days By refusing to wear a chest heart rate strap and saying โ€œitโ€™s close enoughโ€ And whenever the heart rate reading was higher than I wanted it to be Id just tell myself โ€œitโ€™s not perfect donโ€™t worry about itโ€ lol
