Re; #Artemis2, I've just remembered another schoolboy space memory. Space is a dangerous place, and must be treated accordingly. I thought before we started travelling distances, we'd better come up with ways to rescue people should trouble occur. Watched a lot of #Thunderbirds

This recent #Artemis2 stuff has ignited memories in me - I loved #space a lot! In my 1st year of middle school, I had an idea that before anybody started a war, they had to be sent in a rocket into space, and made to look at the planet earth, and see how peaceful it looks.

@DaveBensonPhill @NASA Lots of people confuse the dark side of the moon with the far side of the moon. Pretty much everywhere on the moon gets dark at some point. Also, the 3 Lunar Rovers from Apollo 15/16/17 are all parked on the nearside, too small to be seen from Artemis’s 4,000 mile altitude.

Safety first! The Artemis II astronauts can be seen in their eclipse glasses, worn to protect their eyes when they experienced a solar eclipse on April 6. The Sun, the Moon, and the Orion spacecraft aligned — and Moon joy was had!
