Back to my interview with Peter Hutton, member of the Saudi Pro League, I asked him about the possibility of Mohamed Salah joining the league and his potential impact. He told @winwinallsports:“it’s important we look at every opportunity out there and we have to judge it in terms of what football quality people bring and what economic value they bring in terms of the TV rights and the sponsorship rights. But we’re in a great position because the beauty of what the Saudi Arabia League has achieved in the last few years is that whenever a player is available someone says the Saudi Arabia League are going to look at him. And that’s not a bad sign, the fact that people are aware that we’re out there, we’re looking at players and we can make those judgements. What Rami Abbas said is completely accurate, and therefore anything I publish at this time is not coming from Salah at all. Salah is happy after the announcement and is feels good. Regarding his future, we exclusively reported on @winwinallsports about Al-Ittihad and Al-Qadsiah’s interest in signing Salah. These two clubs will be there for Mo and involved in pursuing him.
For Al-Ittihad, there is a mutual desire to part ways with Moussa Diaby, leaving an open spot.. first for a star player after Benzema’s departure, and also for a right winger given Diaby’s expected exit. The Saudi Investment Fund has not contacted Salah yet, but in their plan, they are preparing a two-year contract worth €100 million. Al-Hilal might also be involved.

While the Saudi Investment Fund was preparing around €50 million in their plan to sign Salah from Liverpool in the summer, Liverpool reached an agreement to allow Salah to leave without a fee . first called by @_pauljoyce and as Ramy Abbas confirmed, there are nothing regarding the new club for Mo, even no talks till now

I’m supposed to be writing, researching, and working on more than one article right now about Mohamed Salah, but all I can think about is this legacy. Salah has left an incredible legacy in England, but here in Egypt and across the entire Arab world, he truly made us dream. I can’t find enough words.. it’s a truly sad day.
