When I was 13, I watched Bruce Lee’s The Way of the Dragon, and instantly became a fan of Chuck Norris. Today, I send my condolences to the Norris family. I know he will be missed by millions of fans and friends. I know I certainly will. Dave Mustaine

My new book, "In My Darkest Hour", releases on September 8th. One of most harrowing experiences of my adult life has been my seven-year journey through cancer treatment and onward into remission. This story is considerably more than just go to the doctor, get diagnosed, get treatment and hopefully I live happily ever after. This was a journey of me saving myself, staying alive, keeping my family together, and continuing to make music through it all.

28 years ago this morning, I was in the Scottsdale hospital with Pam, and we were getting ready to welcome Electra Nicole into the world. Imagine the incredible joy I got to experience when the doctor asked if I wanted to deliver Electra. Of course I said yes, and they gave me some sanitized clothes and gloves and I got ready! The best and most successful productions I’ve ever done in my career have been becoming a father to Electra Nicole, and her incredible big brother, Justis David. Happy birthday, Electra. I love you, Dad.
