This had to happen. This was necessary, obvious and a victory for accountability. The #Bulls couldn’t accept the status quo. There were too many missteps in player evaluations, poor trades and every aspect of operation. Good for Michael Reinsdorf in making tough but right call.

@Shawnp23Patrick Do people really need explanation why “tough” is one of the words used to describe what it might’ve been like to fire 2 guys who became friends and you worked alongside for 6 years? If people counter that would be easy for them—or not hard—that’s fine. We can quibble over a word.

Congrats #UConn and Danny Hurley, a great coach I find hard to like. So much that I picked against the Huskies. But Illinois picked the wrong night for its worst offensive game in three years and UConn hit its 3s as Braylon Mullins looked comfortable back home again in Indiana.

@DavidHaugh As one of the few sportswriters/reporters that I trust actually understand the words they use, this is disappointing sensationalism. Sore forearm is worrisome sign, "Worst. Case. Scenario." comes if/when they shut him down and schedule surgery, let's hope that's not on horizon 🤞
