@BelfastBooks I think what you heard was the original plan - build an office block and the church use a couple of floors and rent the rest out. The current plan is more modest

I recall hearing about this a few years ago when one of their senior people came to the shop. The plan then was for the church to be on an upper floor, but not sure if that’s still the direction they’re going.

The Linen Hall Charity bookshop will soon be moving to a new home in Lombard Street, to set up shop in the building that was previously Caffè Nero, or for those a little older, the much beloved Delaney’s. The existing site opposite Castlecourt will close on Wednesday 20th May, and we will be open for business again after the bank holiday on Tuesday 26 May in Lombard Street. Queens Road. No doubt now that the temporary structure is for Artemis Technologies - fitting out electric passenger ferries destined for Bangor, Orkney and the Isle of Wight

Chichester Street. Demolition workers are stripping out the former SS Moore sports shop. It's due to become a Tesco Express

@BraidenGB The site has planning for a student accommodation block but I can't see any more of those being built for a while. I suspect the developer will come up with a different plan
