@MichaelArtist4 Do what comes natural to you and what your heart desires! The older I get, the more I understand how important it is to do what we feel drawn to and wish to explore. Not what is expected.

@DavidSandum Sounds legit! Unfortunately it has taken me so many years to get semi-intermediate at oil painting, I don't think I have what it takes to learn another medium.

My 12x16 inch oil painting on canvas panel. Into the Misty Highlands. "Lost between earth and heaven, where the soul finds its true horizon." I finished this painting last month. It's the last medium-sized painting that I completed.

New work signed tonight at my studio. Once again, I’m working in a larger size, which requires longer work hours & more oversight, but I love the outcome. Title: ‘By the Winding River’ Medium: Pastel/watercolor pencils on black watercolor paper. Size: 50x70 cm (19.7x27.5 inch).
