Happy Birthday to sculptor and graphic artist Elizabeth Catlett. Her artwork is known for depictions of Black American experiences in the 20th century. Catlett is a Howard alum who also worked at Dillard University.

My favorite is by the bestest and the greatest panafrican this continent ever knew: Gisèle Rabesahala. Her book: Que vienne la liberté (May freedom comes) is a great book (The attached pictures are my pictures of these books taken while traveling. )
