I don’t necessarily disagree that actors have the right to say no to love scenes but there has to be a way to do what they are comfortable with and satisfy the audience and so far #GH is failing at that balance imo.

@jfer21 No that’s on me the whole folder needs to be fixed when I re-encode my music tapes. There’s various versions of quality with the clips in multiple places.

@daysofjarlena One thing I did notice is that in the Days Music Video folder, everything seems to be in there twice. I wasn't sure if it was something wrong on my end or if that was intentional or possibly accidental.

To everyone I’m adding in on plex this is a test to see how it works and if it’s realistically maintainable versus my Google Drive so it may only be short term

Is anyone who is currently hooked into my google drive interested in testing with me how my full plex server works for videos? This would give access to my full vhs digitized library including other soaps & primetime shows.

@jfer21 Thank you! I’m honestly not sure if plex is a viable solution for sharing but it seems like a better experience that using the drive. It’s more meant for streaming.

@daysofjarlena So far, it seems a lot easier to watch on Plex. It feels like it is playing smoother than on the Drive. Fast forwarding felt more responsive too.

Honestly, I don't remember much of this from watching it in real time if I hadn't been doing a rewatch from a 2026 lens I don't know that I would have these opinions. The story certainly wasn't shaped from this perspective while with Sami, it was made clear from the start that everything she did was based on trauma of losing one father and attaching herself to another.

@daysofjarlena But I will say that we watched sami’s childhood play out on screen and Kristen’s childhood was off screen which is why fans might not register how bad it was

I feel like you can't understand how Sami's past affected her and how it shaped her as an adult and not say the same thing about Kristen. What Sami did to Austin is no different than what Kristen did to John, Eric and Brady. I would also say that Stefano was the catalyst to messing up both of them.

@daysofjarlena I agree that it doesn’t excuse her actions and crimes but you can see how her experiences would warp her views of what was acceptable. Stefano really did mess her up lol 😂 interesting psychology case study there.

It doesn't excuse any of her actions, but when you see the environment she came from the fact that she thought it was ok to do is understandable. And, that her brother helped her do it? Its not out of the realm of being a product of her environment. (if we're talking about the same one - I'm referring to 1997) - and everything that she went through absolutely led to the SA of Eric and Brady. I can hate her guts and still see this. Back when character development used to be a thing.

@daysofjarlena Right and it’s not surprising that she then grew up to commit S.A. considering how she was groomed plus later sold to a harem (which yes, she brought upon herself but still gross)
