@SQLFlipFlopsDBA I feel better about my broken hip replacement now. Hope that doesn’t hurt as much as it does to look at it!

Hey. In town for a Boston Red Sox game. Time for some downtime after speaking last night at #nesql user group.

I've been fortunate to speak at PASS Summit and still get overwhelmed when I'm around people like @GFritchey , @DBAduck , @SQLHA and @Warwick_Rudd. I picked the right lunch table 😊

SQL 2019 AG DB stuck in “initializing/in recovery” state after failover. The DB is in secondary role. The error log said - “recovery completed for database <db name> in 30 seconds” an hour ago but DB still stuck in initializing/recovery state. Any help to recover the DB #sqlhelp

English

@DBAduck Thanks Ben. The thing I was hoping for was that although it needs the locks, it doesn’t necessarily need to scan (but it does anyway)

#sqlhelp
Can I enable temporal tables on an existing table online?

On my way to #SQLSatColumbus. Well, first a little entertainment tomorrow. Sadly @SQLRunr is a big meanie and has forced me to check luggage. The monster.
Oh, and we'll be playing golf tomorrow.
I have practiced my CPR so I can revive Allen after he laughs himself unconscious.
