🚨FACIAL RECOGNITION FOR UTK ATTENDEES TOMORROW🚨 Was checking any last minute changes to UTK routes, times, locations etc with Grok, and it mentioned Live Facial Recognition "mainly for UTK attendees", here is what it said, copied and pasted. Read to the end. "This is the first time the Met has used live facial recognition as part of a protest policing operation. Cameras are deployed only in a specific area of Camden borough (not on the UTK march route, but near expected arrival points for UTK attendees (e.g. around King’s Cross / St Pancras / Euston stations and surrounding streets where people are likely to walk before heading to the form-up zone). How it works: Cameras scan faces in real time and compare them against a specific police watchlist of people suspected of posing risks to public safety (e.g. outstanding suspects from the September 2025 UTK event or known individuals linked to previous disorder). If there’s a match, officers can stop the person." 🚨But HERE'S THE KICKER🚨: "It is NOT scanning everyone indiscriminately or being used on the pro-Palestine event."
