There’s no such thing as a "freelance career". A career is a progressive trajectory within a field, i.e. roles that build on each other, increasing in scope, responsibility, and compensation over time. Freelancing is work. Potentially well-paid, skilled work. But it doesn’t have an inherent progression structure. Your leverage grows only as fast as your reputation and client base, which is entirely self-managed and non-linear. It’s okay if you disagree, but at some point you’ll understand why in the long run freelancing especially as a software engineer is not an optimal strategic positioning, more so in the early stages of your professional development. Freelancing is different from building a startup with an actual product. It’s easy to you’re also a startup founder.

Taking your freelance career as a job instead of a business?? I guess this is why many Frontend devs wind up becoming fullstack dev for companies that pays peanuts

I’d rather be 9 points behind Arsenal than 5 points above City. We are coming

I slept around 8pm yesterday. Arsenal won their game and it was resounding. Nothing to worry about again so sleep came.

If Pep is leaving, City fans need to not just congratulate him for what he’s won but also how he has set up the team to still compete for everything after him. Pep’s genius is his ability to constantly profile the right players per position on the market. Khusanov (a hybrid Konate/Walker profile) Cherki (a final 3rd creative specialist) Guehi (smaller Saliba/VVD) Ait-Nouri (smaller Robertson/Davies) Semenyo (Grealish upgrade) Reijnders (good squad #8) Nico Gonzalez (good squad #6) Savinho (smaller Doku profile) In the last two years is insane. On top of that, you have the Nunes RB conversion Nico O’Reilly LB conversion Plus the core of Rodri, Dias, Gvardiol, Haaland, Doku, Donnarumma etc It’s the same gift Mikel Arteta has.

6 points clear at the top of the Premier League with +4 GD. Only 3 games to go….We dont have to leave London for the remaining Prem games. One win away from securing a UCL Final spot since 2006. Lock the fuck in Mikel Arteta Amatriain
