Past their funding max. A Serial Experiments Lain OVA. A retelling of Lain from the 2020s is how it is described. Since they open sourced Lain's IP until 2029, I expected something like this, and I am excited to see how it goes. I know there are some devoted Lainists at the helm of this project.
