This is Ben, who is 18 years old and lives in luxury with my parents. Three pillows, five beds dotted around the house and every squeak and meow answered. He has them perfectly trained. #BeMoreBen

@dangerm47163366 That sounds wonderful. Just don’t give in if it demands a mojito…

@devilscustard This is the feral Tom cat who lives in the woods and sleeps under the woodshed. He eats roadkill and neighbour's hens.

@Rebecca08510632 He is magnificent! I do love a cat with a formal name. His suits him very much.

@devilscustard Edward, also 18, still patrolling the fields from dawn til dusk, inviting himself into people's houses & seeing off dogs.

@devilscustard My brother always denied they'd put in underfloor heating just for the benefit of their arthritic old cat Cherry, but I have my doubts :-)

@rob_northern @PeggyJoFarr2 I know! Shocking. Every surface in the house should be his bed in his eyes 😁
English

@devilscustard Magical! Would love to be there!
Here in Ottawa, we have snow, ice, and with windchill, feels like -21 C.
English

@devilscustard That was great, thank you, Twiggy. It has been over 50yrs since I walked Cromer pier.
English

@Cerys318971 Thank you so much Cerys - I’m so glad you enjoyed it.

Thank you for sharing this with us Twiggy it’s all too easy to get so very involved with the mayhem we are seeing everywhere now and forget that peace and beauty, serenity too still exists in our natural world ..

For all my dear Twitter pals who are stuck inside this evening, come for a walk on Cromer Pier. The sun has set, the sea is sloshing against the pier legs and, for the first time this year, it’s not freezing. The Victorians certainly knew how to build!
