“But when it’s an emergency, who do you call?”
When you take care of yourself and have good health there are no emergencies. And if I need help I see an ND, Osteopath, Chiropractor, Acupuncturist, Chinese medicine doctor, or Functional Medicine doctor before an allopathic one. Unfortunately allopathic medicine became about expensive tests and drugs — not health. I walked out of the office of a primary care doctor of 20 years in NY (would go for annual bloodtests only) when he scoffed at me for refusing various vaccines he wanted to push on me!??? I could feel his frustration but I am not his pawn to meet his quota. Shocked it came down to that?!!
I am 65, have never taken pharmaceuticals and don’t have any diseases. I prefer to use natural herbs, homeopathy and nutrition to guide my health. Its time to realize that alopathic care is dying out. No one wants expensive drug cocktails anymore or doctors that aren’t experts in health. Move over to Functional Medicine or stop complaining. Every business has to pivot at some point. This is your pivot.
