Today, we mourn the passing of one of the most influential figures in the history of the American Baseball Coaches Association and amateur baseball. Dave Keilitz devoted more than six decades to serving the game as a player, coach, athletic director, ABCA Executive Director, mentor and friend. His vision transformed the ABCA, strengthened baseball at every level and impacted generations of coaches and student-athletes. More importantly, Dave made everyone around him feel valued. His kindness, integrity and unwavering commitment to others will be remembered just as much as his extraordinary accomplishments.
