This is about the future of all 30 million Texans and getting America back on track. With the primary behind us, Democrats must rally around our nominees and win. I’m committed to doing my part and will continue working to elect democrats up and down the ballot.

Sine Die day 40 and we are out until the second Monday in January but do know the Trump administration will cause us to come back for a Special Session because our only constitutional requirement is to balance the states budget and his federal cuts will cause us to come back in.

As a Citizen of the Cherokee Nation and living in Georgia the first home of the Cherokee’s I must vote absentee and today I am mailing in my request to the Cherokee Nation Election Commission for my ballot and hope that other Cherokee’s that do not live in Oklahoma do the same.

Today is Rosa Parks 112th Heavenly Birthday… and yes she did sit for us to stand up… having Ambassador Young and his wife Carolyn at the dedication of the Dr. Evelyn Gibson Lowery Building on 328 Auburn Ave… Mrs. Lowery taught me if I stay ready I do not have to get ready 😊🙏

Enjoyed a great afternoon catching up with my first intern when I was elected in 2013 … have had a few good ones but Ocoszio Jackson set the bar really High … very proud of him …do know whatever he sets his mind on in the future, he will obtain it …💯😊🙏❤️🌈

Today is the start of my 7th term in the Georgia House of Representatives… it will s also day 1 of 40, so 39 more days after today… let’s do something on Gun Control, Expanding Medicaid, increasing Georgia’s minimum wage and keeping public money in public schools… 😊❤️🙏

Really a great snow day in Lawrenceville do think the front of the house is warmer than the back … no melting in the backyard but the front the driveway now is clear… if you do not have to travel do stay in , read a book or watch some movies… the ice is coming and is dangerous

Today was Falcon Family Holiday gatherings… lunch at Papadeauxs with the regular 3rd Wednesday group and the annual linebackers party at Bench Warmers… always great to be with Family…😊🙏❤️

At the Northeast Georgia Council Executive Board meeting and these 2 Scouts sold almost 50 thousand dollars worth of popcorn… and that is a lot of corn for the youth of scouting..: congrats

Glad to see my old teammate Tommy Nobis made the cut for Pro FB HOF and Mike Kenn … but it is a travesty that Nobis is not in the Hall of Fame, but it depended on the team you played on , growing up there were 5 LB’s 4 are in the HOF , Butkus,Lanier,Niske, Bonicoti not Nobis.🙏
