On the evening of Friday, January 9, 2026, in the city of Arak, Mehrdad was struck in the head by a military bullet fired by Islamic Republic death forces. He was left unconscious and rushed to the hospital. Despite surgery, he suffered brain death and cardiac arrest and passed away on January 10. اطلاعات اختصاصی رسیده به ایران اینترنشنال حاکی است که دادگاه کیفری یک استان قم، صالح محمدی، کشتیگیر ۱۹ ساله، را به اتهام «قتل عمد» به «اعدام علنی در میدان نبوت قم از طریق چوبه دار» محکوم کرده است. در حکم اولیه دادگاه که به رویت ایران اینترنشنال رسیده است، آمده است که شب ۱۸ دی ۱۴۰۴ در میدان نبوت قم، گروهی به سمت ماموران «کوکتل مولوتف» پرتاب کردند و محمد قاسمی هماپور، مامور یگان ویژه فراجا، پس از سقوط از موتورسیکلت با ضربات «چاقو و شمشیر» کشته شد. در این حکم آمده است که با توجه به گزارش پزشکی قانونی، ۲۹ جراحت بر بدن مقتول ثبت شده و جراحت شماره ۷ به عنوان آسیب موثر در کشته شدن مامور معرفی شده است. براساس این گزارش، صالح محمدی اتهام قتل را انکار کرده و گفته است اقرارها تحت فشار اخذ شدهاند. همچنین دوربینهای مداربسته نیز چهره او را نشان ندادهاند. این اتهامات در حالی مطرح شده است که به گفته نزدیکان صالح محمدی، او هنگام وقوع حادثه در خانه عمویش بوده است، اما دادگاه از احضار شاهدان خودداری کرده است. همچنین، به گواه ملیپوشان، مربیان و همباشگاهیهای او، صالح هرگز چاقو نداشته است. iranintl.com/202602115402
