🇳🇱 As part of my working visit to the Netherlands, I met with First Deputy Speaker of the Senate @DittrichBoris and Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Ingrid Michon-Derkzen of the States General. First and foremost, I expressed my gratitude for the support Ukraine has received throughout russia’s full-scale invasion. We highly value our relationship with the Netherlands and are committed to further strengthening it. I briefed my counterparts on the current security situation and the challenges that require urgent solutions, particularly the need to enhance protection against enemy missile attacks. We also discussed the return of civilians held in russian captivity, including representatives of local self-government. This issue requires greater attention from the international community. In addition, we focused on Ukraine’s European integration path. We expect the opening of the first negotiation cluster on June 15 as part of the accession process. I reaffirmed that the @ua_parliament remains committed to implementing European reforms and will continue taking all necessary steps toward Ukraine’s full membership in the European Union 🇪🇺

Leuk gesprek met een aantal werknemers van een bedrijf in Hoofddorp over LHBT rechten, toen en nu.

Als voorzitter van de commissie Justitie en Veiligheid van de Eerste Kamer mocht ik een petitie ondertekend door 8000 mensen in ontvangst nemen. Ze vragen een verbod op homogenezing en verbod op verandering van gender identiteit, zoals verwoord in het initiatief wetsvoorstel.
