Building an AI-native Karnataka India’s first government-led AI University in Bengaluru, a dedicated AI Hub, the Karnataka AI Policy, AI education from Class VI, and two Hyperscale Green Data Centres will power the next era of innovation.

I have written to Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi seeking urgent intervention in view of the emerging drought situation in Karnataka. The State has recorded a significant monsoon deficit, delayed kharif sowing, low reservoir storage and increasing stress on agriculture, drinking water and rural livelihoods. While the Government of Karnataka has already initiated contingency measures and prioritised water conservation, I have requested the Centre to depute a Central Team to assess the situation on the ground and extend timely assistance to support our farmers and strengthen the State’s drought mitigation efforts. We stand firmly with every farmer and every family affected during this challenging time.

ಮುಜರಾಯಿ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಕ್ತರು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸುವ ಕಾಣಿಕೆ, ಹುಂಡಿ ಹಣ ಹಾಗೂ ಚಿನ್ನಾಭರಣಗಳ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ಖಚಿತಪಡಿಸಲು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಕಳ್ಳತನ ಹಾಗೂ ದುರುಪಯೋಗಕ್ಕೆ ಆಸ್ಪದವಿಲ್ಲದಂತೆ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನದ ಆಧಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸ ಸುರಕ್ಷತಾ ಮಾರ್ಗಸೂಚಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹುಂಡಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿರಂತರ ವೆಬ್‌ಕ್ಯಾಮ್ ಕಣ್ಗಾವಲು ಇಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಕಾಣಿಕೆ ಎಣಿಕೆ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಪಾರದರ್ಶಕಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಜೊತೆಗೆ, ವ್ಯವಹಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಡಿಜಿಟಲೀಕರಣಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಕ್ಯೂಆರ್ ಕೋಡ್ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ತರಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಉನ್ನತ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಕಟ್ಟುನಿಟ್ಟಿನ ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡೀ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಲಿದೆ.

ಸರಳ ಸಜ್ಜನಿಕೆಯ ರಾಜಕಾರಣಿ ಇಂದು ನಮ್ಮೊಡನಿಲ್ಲ ಸಕಲ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಗೌರವಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಡೆದ ಮಾಜಿ ಸಚಿವರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಮಚಂದ್ರ ಗೌಡರ ಅಂತ್ಯಕ್ರಿಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ, ಅವರ ಪಾರ್ಥಿವ ಶರೀರಕ್ಕೆ ಭಾವಪೂರ್ಣ ನಮನ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ರಾಮಚಂದ್ರ ಗೌಡರ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಪಾರ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳ ದುಃಖದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಕೂಡ ಭಾಗಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಮೃತರ ಅಗಲಿಕೆಯ ಈ ನೋವನ್ನು ಭರಿಸುವ ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಭಗವಂತ ನೀಡಲಿ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

ಭಾರತದ AI ರಾಜಧಾನಿ - ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ನಮ್ಮ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು 6ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯಿಂದಲೇ ಎಐ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ, ಭಾರತದ ಮೊದಲ ಬೃಹತ್ 'ಎಐ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ', ಮತ್ತು ವಿಶೇಷ 'ಎಐ ಹಬ್' ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಹೊಸ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಕ್ರಾಂತಿಗೆ ಮುನ್ನುಡಿ ಬರೆದಿದೆ. ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳು ಮುಂದಿನ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗೆ ಸಜ್ಜುಗೊಳಿಸಲಿವೆ. ಇದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪರಿಸರ ಸ್ನೇಹಿ 'ಗ್ರೀನ್ ಡೇಟಾ ಸೆಂಟರ್' ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಜಾರಿಗೆ ತಂದು ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಬಲಪಡಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕ್ರಾಂತಿಕಾರಿ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಗಳು ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಸ್ಥಾನವನ್ನು ಗಟ್ಟಿಗೊಳಿಸಿ, ಜ್ಞಾನ ಆಧಾರಿತ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲಿವೆ.

On behalf of the Government of Karnataka, I thank Google for choosing our state as the venue for this landmark event. ಇಂದು ನಾನು ಬಿ.ಐ.ಇ.ಸಿ (BIEC) ಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಲಿರುವ "Google I/O Connect India - 2026" ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಜಾಗತಿಕ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನದ ಅತ್ಯುನ್ನತ ಮೈಲಿಗಲ್ಲಾದ ‘Google I/O Connect India - 2026’ ಸಮಾವೇಶವನ್ನು "ನಮ್ಮ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು"ನಲ್ಲಿ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಲು ಸಂತೋಷವಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಜಗತ್ತಿನಾದ್ಯಂತ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನದ ಹೊಸ ದಿಗಂತಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸುವ ಗೂಗಲ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ, ಭಾರತದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯ ವೇಗಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಲು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಿಲಿಕಾನ್ ಸಿಟಿಯನ್ನು ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳು. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಕೇವಲ ಒಂದು ನಗರವಲ್ಲ; ಇದು ಜಾಗತಿಕ ನಾವೀನ್ಯತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅನ್ವೇಷಣೆಗಳ (Global Innovation) ರಾಜಧಾನಿ. ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಯಾವುದೇ ಮೂಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನದ ಹೊಸ ಆವಿಷ್ಕಾರವಾದರೂ, ಅದರ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಯುವ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಗಳು ಇರುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎನ್ನುವುದು ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯ ಸಂಗತಿ. ಇಂದು ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕೃತಕ ಬುದ್ಧಿಮತ್ತೆ (Artificial Intelligence) ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನದ ಹೊಸ ಯುಗದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಈ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಕೇವಲ ಸಾಫ್ಟ್‌ವೇರ್ ಕೋಡಿಂಗ್‌ಗೆ ಸೀಮಿತವಾಗದೆ, ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಜನರ ಬದುಕನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಸುಲಭಗೊಳಿಸಬೇಕು, ಸರಳಗೊಳಿಸಬೇಕು ಎನ್ನುವುದು ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಆದ್ಯತೆ. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು ನಾವೀನ್ಯತೆ, ಅನ್ವೇಷಣೆಗೆ ಮುಕ್ತ ಬೆಂಬಲ ನೀಡುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದಿರುವುದನ್ನು ನೀವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಗಮನಿಸುತ್ತಲೇ ಇದ್ದೀರಿ. ಈ ಹೊತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಜನರ ಬದುಕಿಗೆ ಬೇಕಿರುವುದು ಕೇವಲ ಆವಿಷ್ಕಾರಗಳಲ್ಲ, ಬದಲಿಗೆ "ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಒಳಗೊಳ್ಳುವ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ" (Inclusive Technology). ಗೂಗಲ್ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನಗಳು ನಮ್ಮ ರೈತರಿಗೆ, ಸಣ್ಣ ಉದ್ಯಮಿಗಳಿಗೆ, ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಭಾಗದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆಡಳಿತದ ಸುಧಾರಣೆಗೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಬೇಕಿದೆ. ಈ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯುವ ಡೆವಲಪರ್‌ಗಳು, ಮತ್ತು ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞರು ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನದ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಭಾರತದಿಂದ ಇಡೀ ಜಗತ್ತಿಗೆ ಮಾದರಿಯಾಗುವಂತಹ ಪರಿಹಾರಗಳನ್ನು (Solutions) ರೂಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.‌ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ಇಂತಹ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯ, ಸ್ಟಾರ್ಟ್‌ಅಪ್ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹ ಹಾಗೂ ಸೂಕ್ತ ವಾತಾವರಣವನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇವತ್ತಿನ Google I/O Connect ಸಮಾವೇಶ "ನಮ್ಮ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ" ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವನ್ನು ಜಗತ್ತಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಸಾರಲಿ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ಚರ್ಚೆಗಳು, ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರಗಳು ಹೊಸ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ನಾಂದಿ ಹಾಡಲಿವೆ ಎನ್ನುವ ಭರವಸೆ ನನ್ನದು.

ಕಲೆ, ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಪಾರ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ, 'ಕನ್ನಡದ ಭೋಜ' ಎಂದೇ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಮೈಸೂರು ಸಂಸ್ಥಾನದ 22ನೇ ಮಹಾರಾಜರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಶ್ರೀ ಮುಮ್ಮಡಿ ಕೃಷ್ಣರಾಜ ಒಡೆಯರ್ ಅವರ ಜನ್ಮದಿನದಂದು ಗೌರವಪೂರ್ವಕ ನಮನಗಳು. ಕರುನಾಡಿನ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಪರಂಪರೆಯನ್ನು ಶ್ರೀಮಂತಗೊಳಿಸಿದ ಅವರ ದಿವ್ಯ ಚೇತನಕ್ಕೆ ಕೋಟಿ ಕೋಟಿ ಪ್ರಣಾಮಗಳು.

Deeply saddened by the passing of Shri Nand Kishore Goenka avaru. He was a man of strong values whose vision and determination laid the foundation for contributions that have left a lasting mark on Indian industry and society. He will also be remembered for his generosity and commitment to philanthropy, which made a meaningful difference in the lives of many. My thoughts and prayers are with Dr. Subhash Chandra avaru, Chairman of the Zee Essel Group, and every member of the Goenka family as they mourn this irreparable loss. Om Shanti.

ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್‌ ಹಿರಿಯ ಚೇತನರಿಗೆ ಭಾವಪೂರ್ಣ ನಮನ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಹಿರಿಯ ಮುಖಂಡರು, ರಾಜ್ಯಸಭೆ ಮಾಜಿ ಸದಸ್ಯರು, ಕೇಂದ್ರ ರೇಷ್ಮೆ ಮಂಡಳಿಯ ಮಾಜಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು ಹಾಗೂ ಎಸ್.‌ ನಿಜಲಿಂಗಪ್ಪ ಮೆಮೋರಿಯಲ್‌ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್‌ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಹೆಚ್. ಹನುಮಂತಪ್ಪ ಅವರ ಪಾರ್ಥಿವ ಶರೀರದ ಅಂತಿಮ ದರ್ಶನ ಪಡೆದು, ಅಂತ್ಯಸಂಸ್ಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಗೌರವ ನಮನ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದೆ. ಹೆಚ್. ಹನುಮಂತಪ್ಪ ಅವರು 1982ರಿಂದ 2000ರವರೆಗೆ ಸತತವಾಗಿ ಮೂರು ಬಾರಿ ರಾಜ್ಯಸಭಾ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾಗಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾಗುವ ಮೂಲಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದರು. ಕೇಂದ್ರ ರೇಷ್ಮೆ ಮಂಡಳಿಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿದ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ರೇಷ್ಮೆ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ದೂರದೃಷ್ಟಿಯ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಿ, ರೈತರ ಹಾಗೂ ರೇಷ್ಮೆ ಬೆಳೆಗಾರರ ಹಿತಾಸಕ್ತಿಗಾಗಿ ಶ್ರಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ರಾಜಕೀಯವನ್ನು ಅಧಿಕಾರದ ಸಾಧನವಾಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಜನಸೇವೆಯ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಕಂಡಿದ್ದ ಹೆಚ್. ಹನುಮಂತಪ್ಪ ಅವರಂತಹ ಹಿರಿಯ ಮುತ್ಸದ್ದಿಯ ಅಗಲಿಕೆ ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ತುಂಬಲಾರದ ನಷ್ಟವಾಗಿದೆ. ಅವರ ಆದರ್ಶಗಳು, ಸಮಾಜಮುಖಿ ಚಿಂತನೆಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಜನಪರ ಸೇವೆಗಳು ಸದಾ ಸ್ಮರಣೀಯವಾಗಿರಲಿವೆ.

ತುಮಕೂರಿನ ಶಿವಗಂಗೆಯ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಹಾಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀ ತಿಗಳ ಮಹಾಸಂಸ್ಥಾನದ ಪೀಠಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿರುವ ಶ್ರೀ ಜ್ಞಾನಾನಂದಪುರಿ ಮಹಾಸ್ವಾಮಿಗಳವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದ ನಿಯೋಗವು ಇಂದು ಗೃಹ ಕಚೇರಿ ಕೃಷ್ಣಾದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡಿ, ಸಮಾಲೋಚಿಸಿತು. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಜಿ ಶಾಸಕರಾದ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಬಾಬು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಪ್ರಮುಖರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

ಕೆಪಿಸಿಸಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಬಿ.ಕೆ. ಹರಿಪ್ರಸಾದ್‌ ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಒಬಿಸಿ ಮಂಡಲದ ಮಹಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ, ತೆಲಂಗಾಣ ಹಾಗೂ ಆಂಧ್ರಪ್ರದೇಶದ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರನ್ನೊಳಗೊಂಡ ನಿಯೋಗವು ಇಂದು ಗೃಹ ಕಚೇರಿ ಕೃಷ್ಣಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡಿ, ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 7ರಂದು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಜ್ಞಾನಜ್ಯೋತಿ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಲಿರುವ 11ನೇ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಒಬಿಸಿ ಮಹಾ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನಕ್ಕೆ ಆಹ್ವಾನ ನೀಡಿತು.

ಜನರ ಕಣ್ಣಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಭರವಸೆಯೇ ನನ್ನ ಶಕ್ತಿ. ಜನರ ಕಷ್ಟಗಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ಪಂದಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮಿಗಿಲಾದ ತೃಪ್ತಿ ಇನ್ನೊಂದಿಲ್ಲ. ಇಂದು ಗೃಹ ಕಚೇರಿ ಕೃಷ್ಣಾಗೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿಯಾಗಿ, ಅವರ ಅಹವಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದೆ. ಕಾನೂನು ಚೌಕಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೂಕ್ತ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಒದಗಿಸುವುದು ನನ್ನ ಮೊದಲ ಆದ್ಯತೆ.
