They told a 15-year-old it was anxiety.
Doppler showed a 30% drop in brain blood flow when he stood up.
Not everything is psychological.
When you measure physiology, you change outcomes.

PEM isn’t just fatigue.
For many, it’s brain fog, memory lapses, and a cognitive crash that isn’t in the diagnostic criteria—but shows up in real life.
Maybe the issue isn’t what’s defined.
Maybe it’s what we’re missing.

Recovery isn’t built on hope or fear—it’s built on behavior.
People don’t go from #bedbound to high performance because they feel ready.
They focus on what they can solve next… and stack those wins over time.
That’s how progress actually happens.

Most people with #POTS don’t struggle because they’re not trying hard enough… they struggle because no one ever gave them a clear plan. We created a roadmap for you completely #FREE to help you put the puzzle pieces together. Link in bio.

She already had the data.
Apple Watch. Symptoms. Patterns. Proof.
But no one could connect it.
So the solution stayed the same:
“Let’s just manage it.”
Sometimes the problem isn’t invisible—
it’s just being missed.

Not every child who struggles with focus has an #attention disorder.
Sometimes it’s a physiology issue.
Labels explain behavior, but they don’t always explain why. Getting the proper testing is essential to determine what you need to focus on. #ADHD #cerebralbloodflow

Not all #POTS symptoms happen standing up.
For some, lying flat—especially with the head tipped back—can worsen blood flow from heart to brain.
Head pressure, #dizziness, speech changes aren’t random.
They’re clues.
Pay attention to the positions your body resists.

“Your tests are normal.”
But he couldn’t finish a Zoom call without his HR hitting 140.
The virus wasn’t the root—it was the tipping point.
Old injuries + hidden dysfunction = system overload.

If your vestibular exercises still feel like “work”… you’re not done yet.
At first, they build your system.
But eventually? They should just tune it.
The real goal is getting back to a life that naturally keeps your brain and body sharp.
Not staying stuck in rehab forever.

She was an elite athlete- then everything fell apart. She didn’t lose her drive—her system couldn’t keep up.
Normal tests, debilitating symptoms.
The shift happens when you stop asking “what does it look like?” and start asking “how does it perform?”

@DocKeiser Exercise is much easier than standing though.. pumps the blood more efficiently
English

Let's redefine the word #exercise- because it matters.
If standing up already feels like a workout, adding more exercise isn’t always the solution.
#POTS isn’t just a fitness problem—it’s a regulation problem.
Fix the system first. Then build capacity. #dysautonomia

@SherryRSher Hey there! Feel free to DM and we can see if we can help out

@DocKeiser 3. Her body seems to over respond to viruses. I cant get anyone to listen that something is off w/her and I dont know who/where to take her for answers. She is 18 now and had dealt with this nearly her entire life. We are in Alabama. Any advice or suggestions on what I can do?

The beginning of dysautonomia isn’t always obvious.
It’s often a quiet moment—standing up, feeling off, brushing it aside.
That's how it was for me.

Most tests evaluate structure, not performance.
#Dysautonomia often shows up only when the system is stressed—standing, moving, coordinating vision, balance, and blood flow.
Sometimes you have to watch the system in motion to see where it breaks.
#POTS #functionalneurology
English

Many patients with #dysautonomia were already active.
So why does “exercise” sometimes help later?
Neurological rehab doesn’t use movement purely for fitness.
It uses targeted stimuli to retrain #autonomic, vascular, respiratory, and vestibular control systems. #POTS
