@LouatTheState Possibly the first Ware Shoals player to score a TD in the 78 year history of the North -South game if Jerry Butler did not do it in the 1975 North-South game.

It also brought our program great pride when, as the accolades were being read, we heard these outstanding athletes recognized as being among the top of their class academically. Our sincere thanks go to the Touchdown Club Board of Directors for hosting a wonderful event!

Congrats to several members of the Hornets football team who were recognized as All-Lakeland’s Team (Jayden Johnson, Elijah Brown, Trent Dyal, Tyrell Cunningham). Individual recognition was also given to Tyrell, who received the Carroll Sexton Lakelands Sportsmanship Award.

To Andrew’s point, this atmosphere was absolutely electric, and everything you want small-town football to be.
