He is the father of young Dáithí Mac Gabhann, the boy whose campaign changed organ donation law in Northern Ireland. This is the first time in a long time Máirtín says he has felt real hope. The bags are packed and he is waiting on the call. A call he hopes will come in 2026. He is using this moment to reignite the conversation around organ donation, urging people to remember it could give his boy the “gift of life.” Says all Dáithí wants is to be a messer and play with his friends. @Donate4Daithi
