What exactly did Oliseh say that is wrong? This constant need to be seen as a good person is a problem o.
Yes the team played good football but we failed and there are factors to that failure and we must talk about it. Back in the day bronze is frowned upon, even silver too.

SAMI AJAYI
(The Comeback Constant)
He lost his place just before the AFCON and watched from the sidelines as Benjamin Fredrick was trusted ahead of him. No noise, no sulking, just patience and work. When the call came, Sami Ajayi stepped back in and reminded everyone why he belongs at this level.
Alongside Calvin Bassey, who rightly earns much of the spotlight, Ajayi became the quiet balance, the steady presence that allowed the partnership to thrive. While accolades flowed one way, Ajayi delivered consistency every single game, reading danger early, winning his duels, and holding the line with assurance.
His AFCON journey was a lesson in professionalism: stay ready, stay focused, and let your football speak. Not all heroes trend, some simply perform.
Well done Sami, We See You 🙏🙏🙏

@akinalabi @Omojuwa Maybe he told the manager he is up for it and when it was time, he just froze. The pressure got to him and he thought handling it like it meant nothing was the way to go about it.

Alex Iwobi has built a ridiculous collection of chef’s kiss passes at #AFCON25 🤌🏽

Let’s talk about Alex Iwobi.
For years, he’s been introduced as Jay-Jay Okocha’s nephew. But it’s about time we start calling Okocha Iwobi’s uncle.
Iwobi has delivered a masterclass at this tournament. The attackers will rightly get their plaudits, but he has arguably been the player of the tournament so far. Before the game against Algeria, he had already completed 46 line-breaking passes, second only to Idrissa Gueye.
Against Algeria, he was everywhere: creating chances, pressing, spraying long balls, and keeping everything ticking. The passes to Akor and Osimhen? Ridiculous.
The Super Eagles are now in the semi-finals. Iwobi has 94 caps and is closing in on a century. If Nigeria go on to win this tournament, there will be some uncomfortable conversations about where he ranks among Nigeria’s all-time greats.
To those who ridiculed him over the years, stay on that side.
For now, let’s celebrate the player that is Alexander Iwobi.
