@SteveAndersonPT @policy4pt @APTAtweets @pps_apta Leadership experience can be what you get when you don’t get what you want. Justin Moore demonstrates what you do with that experience makes all the difference. Successful empowerment is delivered via listening+ compassion+authenticity+adaptability+collaboration with endurance

🤔Was "humbly" invited to submit a paper today in "Ocean Surgery and Surgery Research". I did a little digging, and as you can tell from the title, the journal's focus is the thoracic spine .......

@ptreviewer I'm not sure how req. Adm burd. documentation could ever support that. Time for a fraud audit or the instalaion of red light bulbs for the level of evident prostitution of the profession.

Attn: Employers requiring PTs, especially new grads, to manage an average of 100 patients per 5 day work week. You are burning out your PTs, devaluing our services and ultimately killing the profession. There is zero justification for that sort of practice. This needs to stop.

Let's not forget, we can all disagree without being disagreeable and, no matter what, we can and must respect our differences. Through all this, we can collaborate, compromise and unite as opposed to divide. UNITED WE Stand. and you know the rest..which none of us really want.

Over the past year I have experienced a fascinating career transition to contributing my clinical experience within modern-day advanced academia framed by a blended-learning model. Check out this video about our ever-growing program at South College. youtu.be/3D-TmGTh-Eo

@BrandonPoen Before answering one needs to first ask what is the role of the PT within integrated healthcare pathways, then does the role and competencies of the PTA need to change?

@SeanHagey What comes to my mind is the burn out from managing the pressure of leveraged professional prostitution in the presence of fulfilling data diarrhea.

PTs who think manual therapy, dry needling, and the like are the "enemy" fail to see that, in the big picture, we have more in common than we realize. The real threats to the profession are high volume, burnout, commoditization, and replacement by other professions.
