@AstroJake Genuinely couldn't think of anything worse. LLMs are built on theft, they rarely produce anything of real value, and it misses the point that most characters in a video game don't need vast unique dialogue trees.

@DrAshleyNova I’d defo prefer an LLM for some characters, maybe a companion, sounds really cool and fun. It would take too long for all characters in Hogwarts to have vast unique dialogue. I imagine something like Sims but LLMs would be pretty cool!

I would like to see LLMs in video games to make them more immersive. Like, imagine being able to have a conversation with a character in Elder Scrolls? Chatting to students in Hogwarts Legacy? I predict this happening in the future.
