I am four years into a PhD program and writing an intro to neuroscience lecture for an undergraduate class and I just googled what the ribosome does because I was like pretty sure but not 100% sure 🙃

Left photo was taken about a week before I was sectioned & spent 19 days in hospital with postpartum depression/bipolar relapse. Right one was taken about 10 days after I was discharged. I guess you wouldn’t know from looking at the photos. Mental illness doesn’t have “a look”.
