I honestly think secondary schools should offer some sort of recess. You want kids to run to class at transition, not pee, not talk in class, and not expect their human brains and bodies to rebel?

@L_D_Washington Yes, but with some exceptions (there are few "absolutes" in education). Classes like math and perhaps SOME sciences should allow this. However, it is very easy to differentiate in English and Social Studies. Also, the value in discussion and peer relation is huge in the arts.

Do you think high school students should be able to test out of courses?

This time of year is tough for our at-risk students. The consistency and love the receive every day from their teachers, para's, administrators, etc., is going away. Remember this when they act out. They are scared and confused. #loveemupteachemup
