@WillWGraham @LeagueOnPrime I was today years old when I wrote my first tweet toward a tv show. I love film and tv, but don’t follow or engage with shows on social. Except now ALOTO. Because it healed me in an unexpected way and I’m so grateful to be able to say that to the show’s creators.

I realized today that I’ve been my own employer longer than any previous employer. (That includes grad school since I was technically a University of Texas employee.) I feel like I should be giving myself some sort of paperweight or chain restaurant gift card for my loyalty.

This study has limitations. They didn’t (and couldn’t in one study) test with the range of habits you might want to form. Making a habit to brush your teeth every day is very different than…say…posting every day on social media.

This week was both National Daughters Day and National Sons Day. We don’t yet have a holiday for parents to celebrate their non-binary kids. Today, I celebrate anyone who doesn’t identify as “daughter” or “son”. And I celebrate parents who love and honor their non-binary kids.

Rather than seeing our inaction as a problem to fix, instead, we can get curious about what message it’s actually trying to deliver. Imagine what could come off your plate if you checked in on what’s really going on rather than shaming yourself for what you’ve assumed must be.
